Catalyxx Selected for Greentown Go Make 2026 Cohort with Shell and Technip Energies

May 22, 2026

Catalyxx joins a highly competitive cohort of five startups advancing catalytic solutions for industrial decarbonization and the energy transition.

Catalyxx has been selected to join Greentown Go Make 2026, an open-innovation program led by Greentown Labs – the world’s largest climatetech and energy incubator – in collaboration with Shell Catalysts & Technologies and Technip Energies.

The program brings together breakthrough startups developing process technologies and catalytic innovations for some of the most urgent challenges in industrial decarbonization, including low-carbon fuels, low-carbon gases, CO₂ removal, and alternative chemical manufacturing.

Catalyxx was selected as one of only five startups from a highly competitive pool of 148 applicants across 35 countries. The cohort will work with Shell and Technip Energies teams to explore potential collaboration pathways, including technical validation, scale-up, process design, operational implementation, market channel validation, pilots, and demonstrations.

For Catalyxx, this selection represents an important recognition of the role that our innovative catalytic technology can play in transforming the chemical industry.

At Catalyxx, we transform bioethanol into drop-in, cost-competitive, carbon-negative chemicals. Our approach is designed to produce the same essential chemicals that industry already uses, while reducing reliance on fossil-based feedstocks and improving sustainability across existing value chains.

Identical Chemicals… Only Better.

This means maintaining the performance, compatibility, and industrial utility of conventional chemicals, while enabling a more sustainable and efficient production model. It is the foundation of our mission to deliver Chemicals for the 21st Century.

The Go Make 2026 program is structured to help startups and corporate partners identify potential synergies and develop clear collaboration roadmaps. Over the course of the program, selected companies will engage with corporate mentors from Shell and Technip Energies, define development plans, establish milestones, and explore potential partnership outcomes.

The cohort will officially come together during the Go Make 2026 Kickoff in Houston on June 9-10, 2026. The event will include private working sessions, a public kickoff event, startup pitches, networking, and site visits to Shell and Technip Energies facilities.

Catalyxx is proud to join this cohort alongside other pioneering companies working at the intersection of catalysis, process innovation, and industrial sustainability.

As the chemical sector moves toward a lower-carbon future, scalable technologies will be essential to bridge the gap between innovation and deployment. Catalyxx is committed to contributing to that transition with solutions that are technically robust, economically competitive, and compatible with existing industrial needs.

We thank Greentown Labs, Shell Catalysts & Technologies, and Technip Energies for this opportunity, and we look forward to collaborating with the Go Make 2026 ecosystem.

Catalyxx. Chemicals for the 21st Century.
